Hello from Miss KellyHello From Miss Kelly: May is going to be another busy month! Everyone came back after the holiday with lots of energy, ready to learn and of course have lots of fun! Miss Carolina and Miss Kerry have been working hard with the Ducks encouraging them to put their own jumpers, jackets and shoes on. It would be fantastic if you could practice with your child at home too. Each week in the Owls the children share their weekend news. They are given time to think and plan their sentence in English and then have a go at writing about their weekend. It is a great activity to develop their speaking and listening skills and they have really impressed Miss Kelly and Miss Maria with their super English! The Rabbits have been working so hard in class especially in Maths learning how to add and subtract numbers. To end their Fairytales topic they had a special Prince and Princess themed party! The children have already started rehearsing for our annual Dia de Canarias assembly which is going to be on Tuesday 29th May at 2.45pm. We hope that you can all come and join us for lots of Canarian fun! We will also have a very special visitor coming to school on Monday 28th May. Pepa Aurora is going to come and read some of her fantastic stories. We are very excited to meet her! Remember we are on the playground until 4pm everyday if you need to talk to us or have any questions. We are here to help! |
