Procedures for when it is raining and the children cannot play on the patio:

Morning Routine:
If it is raining when the children arrive to school they will stay in Miss Maria’s room watching a video with Miss Rosi and Miss Kelly to assist.  At 8.45 the teachers collect the children from Maria’s class instead of the playground and go class.

Playtime Routine:
If it is raining during playtime the children can stay in their own class with a member of staff  on duty (during Ducks and Owls breaks there are always 3 members of staff on duty and during Rabbits there are always 2 members).  They can watch a video or free play in the classrooms.

Home Time Routine:
If it raining at the end of the day (3.45-4.00) Rabbits watch a video in Helen’s classroom, Ducks in their own classroom and Owls together in Maria’s classroom.  The parents from Ducks and Rabbits enter school via the steps and collect their children from the dining room where Margarita and Nuria are on duty.  The parents from Owls enter school via the ramp where Rosi is on duty.  
At 4pm all of the children left go to Maria’s class to watch a video with Margarita.  There are not many children left by this time.
