Year 3 are taking part in a very interesting topic this term, Ancient Egypt.
The children are very enthusiastic and interested in the topic.They are finding out a lot of things from mummies to pyramids so far, and the gory bits seem the most interesting!
Last week, the children tried to make some pyramids using what they could find in the class!
They thoroughly enjoyed this, then telling their friends how they made it and how they could be improved.
Still on our theme, Ancient Egypt, the children designed their own pyramids as part of a homework task, then gave a short presentation.
Congratulations to you all, you were wonderful! Giving a presentation is a big thing, especially in your second language.... and in year 3! We all had great fun doing this and children asked many questions and found out a great deal.
Thank you too to all the mums and dads who helped so much doing this, we really do appreciate your help and the children love telling us all how they made things. ´
