In Year 10 the children select a broad range of 9-10 subjects to study in more detail for the IGCSE Examinations which are taken at the end of Year 11.
When choosing the subjects to study for hte IGCSEs students are assisted in identifying and developing their academic strengths. The exams are sent to be marked in England and students are awarded the General Certificate of Secondary Education.
We recognise the importance of qualifications as a passport to university and to other courses and careers therefore our pupils are encouraged to see examinations in perspective and to take them in their stride. |
