Hello from Miss Lucy
Hello from Lucy
The Easter break already seems a long time ago now as we are well and truly into the third (and perhaps busiest) term of the year.
Both staff and students are hastily putting the final touches to coursework and writing revision schedules to ensure that they are as prepared as possible for the upcoming exams. This is a stressful time for everyone so it is important that we all work together to ensure that things run smoothly and all students reach their potential.
There are also lots of "fun" activities going on this term - school isn´t just work, work, work. Year 10 are learning their lines and practicing for the end of year Awards Ceremony while many of the other students are making props and helping with the staging of the production. We will also be taking part in a charity event called "Race against Hunger" where students across the school will participate in some sporting activities to raise money for this very good cause. Posters will be going up around school very soon - so keep your eyes open. Lots more information will be given out in PSCHE and assembly where students will be given the opportunity to contribute to the organization of this whole school event.
Anyway, keep working hard - the summer holidays aren´t too far away!
