In the Sixth Form students select 3-4 subjects from a wide range of courses for more advanced study and follow AS level courses and exams in Year 12 and A level courses and exams in Year 13. With these qualifications students are prepared to enter a university in the Canaries, Spain, Europe or the rest of the world.

Congratulations to Siggi Geirsson for his excellent academic success with his GCSE exams in June 2011. Siggi got an incredible 10 passes at A* or A and 1 B.

The top academic student recieves a scholarship for the cost of the academic fees for Y12 and Y13.

A number of the Y11 students had excellent results in their exams and well done to all of them.

Congratulations to all the students for doing their best and getting good enough grades to be invited back into the 6th form.

Exam Results

Congratulations to students, teachers and parents, on the excellent exam results at GCSE and
A-level this year.

GCSE results 2011
Year 11 achieved a 100% 4 or more GCSEs grades A*-C with 96% gaining 5 or more
GCSE passes grades A*-C.

Year 10 achieved 100% pass rate in Spanish and 100% pass rate in English as a Second
language also.

Year 13 A level 2010-11 results -86% grade A-E passes at A level.

SPANISH UNIVERSITY

5 students applied for Spanish universities, all obtained places. Their university entry
grades (credenciales) ranged between 7.1 and 12.5 with an average of 9.5.

The 2010-11 Year 13 students have all achieved the required A level grade to enter University.
We wish them all the very best in their future studies!
